The benefits of exercise
Exercise is one of the health principles that is often forgotten. We are so busy with life that we don’t have time to exercise. But would you go a day without eating? Would you go a day without drinking water? No you wouldn’t but we go days, months and years without exercise. That’s why we are in a health crisis. We are taking in more calories that we are expending and we end up with conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, High cholesterol and Obesity.
We need to change our perspective on Exercise and put it on the same level as eating and drinking. It should be just as vital to maintain our overall health. Now I know that sometimes we lack the motivation to exercise but let me tell you that once you start you will want to keep going. Now if you haven’t exercised in a while you can build up to it slowly. You can start with 5 minutes, then 10 minutes and increasing it by 5 minutes until you get to 30 minutes a day. Now we will all prefer different forms of exercise but the most important thing right now is to get you moving.

Regular exercise helps the heart to pump more blood thus improving circulation of the blood which helps to take fresh blood to the needed areas of the body.

Exercising will assist you in reaching your optimal body weight.

Exercise is a good stress reliever and it helps you to relax.
Exercise improves your mood by releasing your happy hormone and increases mental efficiency.
Exercise helps to maintain an ideal weight and regulates the blood pressure.
Strengthen your muscles and blood vessels and helps to control your body weight.
Exercise relieves constipation and improves your digestion
Avoid exercising immediately after meals as it hinders digestion. A relaxing walk after meal however is very beneficial for digestion.
Recommendation
A minimum of 30 minutes daily exercise preferably in the morning. At this time the air is clean and will aid in getting the fresh morning air.
Walking is the best exercise. Walking should be brisk but not violent or excessive.
Consider doing high intensity exercise on a rebounder.
Whichever type of exercise you choose, it should be one that you enjoy doing.
