Ginger poultice
Ginger is anti-inflammatory and can be used externally to reduce inflammation in joints. Ginger relaxes cramped muscles and draws inflammation out of the skin.
What you will need:
Ginger
Grater
Plastic wrap
Cloth
Method
Grate the ginger finely
Spread out the ginger on cloth or paper towel then cover with another layer of cloth or paper towel
Place the ginger poultice on the joint and cover with plastic wrap
Apply the poultice in the evening to determine if the person can bare the heat and sleep with it
Use it for at least 30 minutes
If skin gets inflamed it may be because you are using it too often
