Garlic Syrup

This garlic syrup is good for:

  • Cough

  • Laryngitis

  • Sore throat

  • Tonsillitis

 

Ingredients

  • Garlic

  • Honey

 

Method

  1. Place 1/2 cup of finely minced garlic in a pot.

  2. Cover with enough honey and cover the pot.

  3. Slowly simmer on low heat until the garlic disintegrates which is approximately 20 minutes.

  4. Stir often.

  5. You may dilute with a little water.

  6. If there are some garlic pieces left you can strain off the honey mixture otherwise pour the garlic syrup in a glass container.

  7. Store in the refrigerator and take as needed.

  8. Use 1 tsp for children and 1 tbsp for adults
