Cashew Cheese Spread

Cashew is a very versatile nut. As a source of healthy fats and protein, cashew is good for making burgers, sauces and cheeses. Below you will find a Cashew Cheese spread that you can use on crackers, sandwiches or use as a dip.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup raw cashews

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 1/4 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

Instructions

  1. Soak cashews for 1 hour. Rinse then drain.

  2. In a high speed blender add cashews, garlic, water, lemon juice and salt.
